All Things Greyed With Silence

I sense you, but I cannot see you;
I hear you, but I cannot feel you.
Our bodies dwell in a room at once,
While our hearts lie miles apart.
As we relish in the simplicity of existence,
We are stunned by the familiarity of this moment.
Silence bursts in violent waves of necessity;
Roaring is the reality of all things memorable.
Obscurity is positioned when misplaced in the moment;
Fate is blinded by our heart.
Without knowing,
We are consciously discovering our severance.
